I like to find arguments between two other redditors who have respectfully not downvoted each other and downvote them both, so neither knows they're not in a pitched battle.
When I see a person I'm arguing with getting downvoted I upvote them so it doesn't look like I downvoted them. Unless I'm the one downvoting them; sometimes I argue with bad faith assholes.
