I’ve done this 😂. They were passing around 2 cards but only told us about the happy birthday one. Everybody wrote happy birthday on a sorry for your loss card.
I love that card... from Tiffany's last minute grammatical correction, to the non-English speakers who say lost instead of loss, Kim's need for brevity, to Mercy's annoying hijacking of a sympathy card for her own selfish birthday needs. The whole thing is just classically tragic.
I had a boss who used to write "Well done" on every card. He thought it was hilarious. I remember him writing it on a card for someone who was going on maternity leave, where it felt particularly irrelevant.
Anyway, for his birthday card one year, we all wrote "Well done" on it. Thinking it was funny. He stopped writing it after that.
