I really am having a hard time figuring out how this turned into what he wrote. You can’t make up your own verse just because you can’t find one to support your dumbass beliefs.
Ah John Hagee. The man who poisoned Christianity for me. I know there are good thoughtful Christians out there, but Hagee will always represent Christianity to me. I don’t think I’ll ever shake that bigotry, unfair as it is.
I used to watch him on TV. The cornerstone church isn’t that far from where I grew up, and I knew more than a few Holy Rollers. Watching him rant and rave, claiming that Democrats were satanic demons, tolerance is treason to God, and claiming divine protection and the ability to reveal prophecy made him riveting in a terrifying way. This was in the late 90s, later on he would become a personal adviser to Bush, and then Trump. Joeseph Traitor Lieberman has rewarded him multiple times as a Friend of Israel. This did not leave me with positive feelings towards Israel for enabling people like him, but it’s clear they don’t care.
You may be surprised to find out his prophecies were less than accurate. He claimed the end times would begin in 2012, and envisioned a gay Jewish EU leader creating an army to invade Israel from Gog and Magog. Russia was a bad guy back then, so they were supposed to be in on it. I’m guessing he no longer thinks Russia is on Team Evil, but I know he hates people like me as much as he ever did. And I know he will be hating me from a mansion, a limo, a personal jet, or a 5 star resort, as any godly man would.

With that same logic, isn’t the entire Bible itself ruled out as well. Ya know, since no human on earth in this time period saw it happen
