I’ll be honest - whenever I’m driving and I see someone who is out of shape going for a jog, I’ll legit say aloud (to myself) “Hell yeah - good for them”
Anyone who sneers at someone who is making attempts to improve their health, is just not a good person. You really should not care what those sorts of folks say or think.
Nobody should EVER be embarrassed to go to the gym. It is there for people to get healthy and strong! It doesn't matter what you look like or what shape you are in. If you go to the gym it shows that you want to take care of your health.
Anyone that goes to the gym, especially newbies, has consciously made the decision to take care of themselves even when it fucking sucks to do so, and I will always respect that
