For those interested, this was taken at Loch Awe along the west coast of Scotland. I wanted to visit the Loch to see the famous Kilchurn Castle but when I arrived before sunrise, I was greeted by an intensely colourful sky for just a few minutes before the sun rose. I love the way the colour reflected off the Loch and contrasted with the silhouettes of the trees and completely forgot I was there to see the castle!
