This man could not simply stand by and do nothing while the world around him burned. The world could do with more people like him. Especially with things being how they are today.
John Rabe, a German businessman and leader of the Nazi Party in Nanking, gave refuge to Chinese civilians during the Rape of Nanking in 1937, and saved tens of thousands of Chinese from being massacred. The Japanese saved Jews from the Nazis and the Nazis saved Chinese from the Japanese.
