I agree with the tweet. But I think it's also important to notice that the only reason this is even up for debate is because one political party is shamelessly manipulating their impressionable voting base.

I hate it when people start in with “If the black community wants X they need to fix A, B and C first”
Who is running this “black community”? Do people think there are monthly meetings where black people vote on what issue to concern themselves with?
