I had an internship at the San Diego District Attorneys' office lined up and I lost it because I had a 500ish dollar medical bill that went into collections (thought it was covered by insurance and I had changed addresses). I couldn't clear my credit record fast enough and they pulled the internship about a week before I started. May have changed the entire course of my career.

A 500 dollar debt meant I couldn't be trusted to intern at a DA office.

Truly different rules for me as opposed to thee.

Shouldn't it be a requirement for a president not to owe millions to the IRS? It's like running as a felon.
