Holy shit. I was legit depressed earlier so I went for a run. During my run I decided to go sober for 40 days, so that I don't go down the same path my father did. Thanks for this.

I needed this. My son will be the first of 4(living) generations not to be abused. The cycle ends with me and honestly, that comforts me greatly.
