Our boss gave us permission to say no to orders that couldn't realistically be done before closing.
Edit: I should clarify that this was not for regular orders. It was for orders that should have been catering orders. I think it happened once?

I worked at a Cane's a few years back, too. This was usually when we'd break down the bird station and start cleaning the fryers, after making one last batch of chicken. Sucks bad.
