LAST UPDATE: So I decided to ring the bell. At first I didn't want to because my treatment was so short. So many people are fighting cancer for years and I felt like I skipping the line to the bell. But then I thought about those who were fighting and didn't get the chance to ring the bell. Chadwick Boseman died of the exact same cancer I have. He fought for four years. I decided I would ring the bell not only for the completion of my short chemo journey, but also in honor of those who didn't get to ring it. Several people have commented on my posts saying they had family members who didn't defeat their cancer. This ring is in their memory. Keep up the good fight if you're battling cancer. Best of luck to everyone going through this and to their family who are supporting them.
ANOTHER UPDATE: Just woke up from a nap. Holy crap you guys and gals!! Thank you so much for the support. And the awards. But instead of spending money on awards, throw a few bucks at The Colon Cancer Alliance. I'll be making another donation to them soon.
UPDATE: treatment is done!!! https://imgur.com/09GUSqU.jpg Sorry if I didn't reply to your comment. This dose did something to the nerves in my right arm. It's numb from my shoulder to fingers. But I promise I read all the comments. I'm going home to sleep. Y'all are the best!!!
Hey again!!! It's my last chemo treatment. Thanks for everyone who has given me encouragement and well wishes the last few posts I've made. Hearing from others who have gone thru chemo and came out stronger on the other side had been very encouraging. Good news, my CEA levels (markers in the blood that shows cancer is present) has gone back to normal levels, so the chemo is working!!! I'm gonna go play some Spellbreak before this chemo starts goofing with my brain. Love y'all!!!
