8 years in customer service jobs of varying degrees. Can confirm that the absolute worst are people born in the late 50s to late 60s/early 70s. The older generation is generally polite, the younger generations definitely are.

Older people tend to be very entitled as if getting old by itself is some sort of accomplishment
