Update: eod thinks its probably a smoke grenade. they still arent sure but they are coming in a few days to remove it. until then we have to like not touch it and just stay away from it
Edit second update: Noone is yet sure wether its a smoke or exploding round. a guy from the police came over to investigate it and told us that it hasnt been fired yet so its relativly safe. he also thinks its a smoke one but isnt sure. wether its a smoke grenade or not, they will pick it up and bring it to a safe detonation field.

Looks like a WWII British 2" mortar round. They did not use chemical weapons in WWII so the filler is likely high explosive but could be WP or Illum.
