Basically she closed closed the mines which scotland and the north of england and wales depended on. She did so without creating any new job opportunities and the few she did make were in the London area. She also closed alot of factories and brutally crushed a miners strike. And if that wasnt enough she stopped a program that gave school children milk.
She used Scotland as a test ground for the hugely unfair and unpopular and unfair poll tax. Even though we all hated it she still went ahead and implemented it in England only to change it to something slightly less crap after riots in London.
Frankie Boyle summed it up when she died and they were talking about a state funeral for her:
"£3 million for the funeral of Margaret Thatcher? For that money you could give everyone in Scotland a shovel and we could dig a hole so deep we could hand her over to Satan in person"
