When James Bond is in Dr. No's lair about to have dinner, he is amazed to see Francisco Goya's painting Portrait of the Duke of Wellington.

The real painting was stolen from the National Gallery in London in 1961 and was missing at the time of filming suggesting the villain himself had acquired it.

It was a bit part, but more than just an extra--she was not just in the background, but interacted with the props, had lines, was killed, and her body carried out. Many actors would be thrilled with that large a role!

Another cool detail is they didn’t decide to give Sean Connery the role until they saw him leaving the audition. Ian Fleming and the others went over to the window to watch him leave, they said he walked like a panther and that sold the deal.
