Let's not forget that if you marry someone too old, too young, of the wrong background/race, have kids too old, in a gay relationship and so on, there is ALSO stigma :-))) adoption? You must be broken. Surrogacy? Psych issues. Giving a baby up? Bad person. So many choices, so many flavours of stigma!!!
So yeah, it's actually kinda rare that someone hits the 'jackpot' of engaging in a relationship w kids in a completely acceptable manner.
