Great work. White Sands is among the greatest camps I've ever done and that whole old missile \ nuclear testing region in general is a trip. The environment is fragile and there are a limited number of widely separated sites available in one portion of the monument. The sun sets over a mountain range and as it does, the white sands reflect the colors of the sunset ranging from orange through purples into nightfall. There is an airforce base with very bright landing lights 'across the street' unfortunately, but from beneath the dunes visibility is pretty good otherwise.
