Growing up in the Bronx, we had a bodega basically connected to my apartment building. We're Dominican, the cats there are Dominican. It's all lovely.
Then one day, they get shut down and put out of business.
Oop. Turns out my mans was running a backroom card table and maybe other gambling out of the business.
Luckily there were like 2 more a half block down but it was my bodega, you know?
