As a RN, I have an insane amount of respect for my environmental team mates! These ladies and gentlemen are simply the best! Always take care of those who take care of you!

Unsung hero. It’s common to take a box of chocolates in for the nurses here in the UK as a thank you for the care. When my mum was in hospital I ( I work in a chocolate factory) gave a box to a ward cleaner. She replied “ is this for the nurses “. No hun it’s for you. I guess many people are simply invisible despite being critical to the hospitals. The girl never paused with the mop and cleaning ever time I visited. Underpaid and sadly undervalued.
