I recently changed my age profile on YouTube from 60 to 13 as I was being bombarded with denture ads and immediately afterwards I get an Army recruiting video every ad break. Back to dentures!

Attempting to recruit children should be a punishable offense

All my friends who went into the military came out of it, some of them seriously fucked up emotionally. To think I would have nearly joined too. What a mistake that would have been.

Edit: one of my family members works for the VA and has seen actual countless hero’s (like really, wise, outstanding men who served in Korea and Vietnam) absolutely lose their minds through dementia and cancer. I grew up next to a Korean War Vet, and he was my hero, and I always got scared if he would end up like them. I once interviewed him for a highschool journalism class and he told me he actually was in the navy and served as a engineer, never combat. That man is 90+ and still meticulously takes care of his lawn in the summer heat, but the ones my mom works with, can barely get across the room without help. Scary.
