Paternity leave for Canada is wrong. There is 37 weeks of paid parental leave that can be taken by the mother or the father. This is in addition to the 16 weeks of maternity leave.
Sorry pal.. this alone tells me the source of the data is heavily biased. Maybe officially the Japanese work hour is lower due to amount of national holidys. But unofficially the work culture in Japan makes you stay a lot longer after work.
