Marble statues are absolutely beautiful. I remember a trip I took to Italy about 10 years ago and I saw David for the first time. The pictures do it no justice. It, quite literally, took my breath away. The sheer size, the small details, everything... It was one of the few times I could not muster up any words. Truly a masterpiece. Sorry for my tangent, I just love marble sculptures.
