According to some online inflation calculator, $0.85 in 1959, is equivalent in purchasing power to about $7.49 in 2020, and $0.70 in 1959, is equivalent in purchasing power to about $6.17 in 2020. Seems like pretty good prices.

So, did a little DuckDuckGoing and it turns out Pennsylvania was the first US state to repeal anti-miscegenation laws. They did so in 1780.
