Realistically, the US is somewhere in the middle when we should be near the top (if all of our resources were being used correctly).
Although he was extremely disrespectful in what he said, Trump did have a point. The only people who want to come to the USA to build a new life are the ones escaping from extreme poverty, refugees fleeing from war torn nations, etc.
Nobody from countries like Germany, Australia, Ireland, etc are falling over themselves to come to the USA because it would be a downgrade for them.
