Germany here with 2 school kids: our schools are NOT (completely) open!
Classes are divided into smaller groups and kids have very reduced school time and the rest is home/online schooling.
As example My older one has 14 school-hours on site one week and is completely at home the other week. They are not allowed to play outside and stay all the time in class.
Also classes start at different times so kids cannot meet in front of school before/after lessons.
