Now you can't climb it legally

These aren't Ozzie's. I lived in uluru grounds for about 3 months in 2018. Locals make up about 5% of visitors.
Its now illegal to climb. You can only walk around.
I wouldn't park your car anywhere else other than the designated spots. The locals will remove it and you'll never see it again..
It is their last sacred space and the people of uluru/Alice springs hold it dear.

There are mountains RIGHT next to it called the Olga mountains, they contain different native history and are completely okay to be climbed. Please go climb them rather than Uluru. - sad australian who thinks the Olga mountains are underrated
