Trump’s store is run off Shopify (a Canadian company ironically) and Shopify will hold items in a users cart during their session. It will do this so they can target you with abandoned cart emails “you still have a 300 MAGA hats in douch red in your cart”
Of course Shopify also allows you to add items to your cart even if it doesn’t have inventory so this probably won’t work.
