My daughter walked out with the Woman’s national team a few years back when her club was invited to attend the She Believe’s Cup. She escorted Julie Ertz and was absolutely inspired by the experience. Just as memorable was walking onto the pitch to a stadium of cheering fans.
She’s been playing soccer since she can run and has met a fair number of players over the years. All except one (cough cough Lloyd cough cough) have been awesome and engaging.
