I hate this problem! Pro tip if you’re watching a movie on your computer: use VLC media player’s built in compressor. The compressor makes the loud parts quieter, and the quiet parts louder and then brings up the overall volume so it’s more even. VLC will even let you drop in a url and let you watch a movie from a website in the player (doesn’t work for every website tho)
