This just reminded of doing something similar when I was about four or five. I knew my dad liked to have coffee every morning and I’d watched make it over and over. So I used the old grounds, still in the maker, to brew a pot. I remember him being bemused and proud but rightfully grossed out. He also taught me step by step how to make coffee that morning.
