A few years back he painted several portraits of NC musicians for a pizza place in Chapel Hill, NC and they ended up being displayed at the University of North Carolina. I made a post about that here when George Clinton showed up to see his portrait.
He recently made it his project to turn each portrait into a giant mural in the hometowns of all the artists. This is the first installment. If you want you can check out some more of his stuff on instagram @themuralshop. I know he would appreciate any positive feedback.
EDIT: Ok wow. I’m currently in Sydney, AU so I posted this and went to bed when it had like 25 upvotes. The dog just woke me up and I checked again to find it’s the #1 post on /r/all. I don’t know what to say. This is fucking incredible! Thank you so much to everyone for the support, Scott deserves it. He’s my hero and I’m just so happy the world can see what a talent he is.
I have work tomorrow, so have to go back to bed, but will try my best to answer questions in the morning.
