I tend to overthink gifts to a fault most of the time and sometimes end up getting generic, forgetful gifts. I’ve gotten better about just going with my gut and not fearing the recipient’s reaction. It’s gone great so far!
I can see how lowered inhibitions, sloshed on wine, would help with buying awesome gifts.
