I absolutely adore this photo! Not only was Antinoüs part of a very sad, very romantic story, but he was deified after his death (murder) and immortalised in statue all over the Roman world. My favourite thing about this photo is how all the people are moving, and Antinoüs is there in the very centre of the image perfectly still. Beautifully colourised, too!
