He looks like the type of guy that would make you come home with him so he can keep you in his back yard for 6 hours while he smokes brisket so you can try "real food" and feeds you cold beers from a $400.00 cooler. Need more like him

Grew up in the South. Lived 20 yrs in Northern CA after college. Am now back in the South to take care of my parents. Southern Hospitality DOES exist (on every level)... at MY house, anyone is welcome and we’ll cook out, hang out and make sure you feel welcomed and respected no matter who you are. In California, people thought it was a fake “face” I put on... I learned to deal but it is ingrained in me. My adopted son is Mexican and I’m a white woman. He calls me MOM and I couldn’t be more proud. When we moved back here, everyone made him feel welcome. ♥️I have to say, I have seen respectful people in both places AND I’ve seen the “redneck” peeps in both places- all walks of life live all across America!
