The assaults were carried out over the course of a year, using fear to “keep me in line” with the threat of telling everyone I was gay (a huge fear for a 15 year old). This person was also a guy, who I previously had considered a friend. The first time it happened, I was unconscious and woke up to him in the act. The worst time he literally broke into my house, chased me down, and had his way. I have not recovered very well, relationships are hard, trust is inexplicably difficult and I’m always angry. I find comfort in knowing my attacker is dead. To the other victims, it’s not your fault. P.s. thanks Reddit for letting me vent a bit.. it helps.
