When I was in the army, I was aware of a tradition of silver/chrome plating bits of equipment for display purposes etc. I was saw a chrome plated 105mm artillery gun.
There's a reasonably liklihood this is such an ornament. Of course, there's also some liklihood that something inside part of it is trying to kill you. So worth checking with a responsible authority which of the two it is.

Obviously I can't add pictures from mobile..
I can unscrew the top and it seems to be like a ignition mechanism.. but I can't tell for sure..

Looks like a mortar round. Maybe not an active one since it's all shiny.
