This is straight out of a post-apocalypse movie.kind of jarring,to think about the kind of things people in this country complain about.Im not saying people here don’t have serious problems but it ain’t like this folks

I once saw a documentary that checked in on one boy in Afghanistan over the course of several years.
When it began, he had light in his eyes and busted his ass to get to school. I believe he wanted to be a doctor.
By then end, the light in his eyes was gone and he had been worn down and had to give up school to provide.
Soul crushing.
Edit: I looked up the name, it's The Boy Mir: 10 years in Afghanistan.
