I liked Jasper even more than Banff and Yoho. Anyone else? This is on the trail between Patricia and Pyramid Lakes.

I was on a mountain in northern NH and this exact thing happened! I took a side trail that led to nowhere and just off that trail was grass. I was so confused, you don't really see a bunch of green grass on the mountains. I pushed ahead and it was freaking magical. Just beautiful birch trees with bright green grass. Like another world. I've been on so many mountains and only experienced that one time. Adventures are awesome!!
