Hi all. I made this last night after getting the vibe to do some old painting photoshops again after my Kenobi one was reposted here. I’m thinking of doing a series of Star Wars ones and suggestions from everyone is more than welcome. Man... George cast Tarkin so perfectly. Everything about Peter Cushing just screams “evil high ranking military officer.” The look, his mannerisms, and he just exudes competence, which is scary!
I really loathed TLJ’s take on Hux for this reason. The reason Tarkin was so scary is because he was so calculated and competent. Re-writing Hux to be a bumbling doof/the comic relief took away so much potential for drama between the good guys and bad guys...oh what could have been.
