For anyone who was wondering, Hickam was not the reason her scholarship was taken. The NASA hashtag was how higher ups found her and revoked it. He made a blog post saying he had talked to the girl privately and was trying to warn her NASA might see her online conduct, and that he had tried to save her internship but was unable to do so.
