I am 22 years old and I only came back because of this Pandemic and it been like that the whole time. I would have been a little more cool about that if she wasn't a hypocrite where she would invite friends over and does everything normal because it's "necessary".
And don't fellas I took my vaccines secretly with my dad since I was young.

Gaslighting is her way of life as nothing ever is her fault no matter what happens. Literally one day she broke a plate and I was grounded because I did not put it on the right spot
When I ever get sick she would say it was a punishment from God because insert the closest situation where I didn't listen to her before the illness
There was a period of time where I was crying because emotional and mental problems and what she did is called the priest to pray for me because the devil is possessing me... This one hit me right in the heart

The most common question I got is if my mom ethnicity is "blank" and I was amazed on how many people deal with the same mom and I also learned that there's a Karen in every ethnic group!
