I work at a university in Europe. People definitely don't all support the same party. It helps if you don't have just two parties where one of them is full of imbeciles, crooks and racists.
Edit for the "bOtH pARtiES aRe tHe sAmE"-folks: no they aren't. If they were, wouldn't educated people be able to see that and split their votes accordingly? Almost self-aware, folks.
