I was born in Romania and currently quarantined in England. Every summer we go and visit relatives living there but this year we might not be able to due to Covid-19 sadly. And one day when we were visiting my grandma she had a house and a mini farm type of thing (when we DO go I will share a pic) and a cat just climbed over the fence and sat next to me. And I didn't know the cat but I picked it up and put it on my lap... And she was fine with it. When it was getting dark I left her on a bench sort of thing that we were sitting on and the next morning... She was there! So I am waiting to go and see them again (we also had 2 dogs)
My paternal granddad was one of the Bucovina Germans, born and raised there and ended up in Germany after the war. I've been dreaming of exploring that area for a while, it's so fascinating.
