Yes. Yes. Neil Gaiman is awesome.

And I want to listen to LeVar Burton reading his stories.

This is incredibly awesome! When I was 7, I donated ALL of my birthday money (about $150 USD) to PBS because I thought the names of the major donors that they mentioned were the only people giving them money and I was afraid LeVar wasn't going to be able to buy new books and I wouldn't get to see new episodes of Reading Rainbow. I begged my mom until she let me call in during a telethon. I still somewhere have my canvas PBS tote bag I got.

"This is the cloud all heavy with rain, that shadowed the ground on Kapiti Plain."

That show was really meaningful to me as a child, and still is today at 40.

This is incredible news.

edit - Wow, I certainly didn't expect to wake up to all of this. Having my morning coffee with a smile on my face is a pretty rare occurence. Thanks so very much to all of you for the gold and award, and all of your kind comments and memories you've shared. I'm glad to hear this show was just as impactful to everyone else. I love all of you, too!
