The only reasonable thing about Idris is that... he’s British. I just presume they’re testing better than America. (Tom Hanks was also tested abroad)

But yea it’s ridiculous in America the lack of tests in general (in two days S. Korea tests more people than America has in total) and then stories coming out of whole asymptomatic basketball teams being tested... like cool that was all the tests we had available that day...

Edit: I’ve been informed, he was tested in Santa Fe. Soooo... be a celebrity and you too can be tested for coronavirus in America. It’s not that hard, idk why everyone keeps complaining about the lack of tests 🙄

Edit 2: evidently, Idris had come in contact with a confirmed case of the coronavirus, prompting his test. However, as he is completely asymptomatic and not a person with an “essential” job function; perhaps, he (and others of his means in a similar position) should opt to presume they have the virus and self-quarantine and allow the tests be used on a) people with symptoms b) people with essential jobs (eg medical professionals) and/or c) people who do not have the means to otherwise self quarantine. At least until the testing tides turn and there is no longer a test shortage (it does seem like tests are rapidly becoming more available... so in 48-72 hours we will all have forgotten why we cared about him being testing to begin with)

True, it is a sh*t show. Friend of mine has had contact with someone, who later tested positive and has now some symptoms himself. "Just" a cough though and some very mild fever. Doctor told him, he couldn´t get tested and should isolate at home. He lives with 3 roomates.... For context: this is happening in Germany.
