While I would never want to take away from what these brave souls are doing in this time of chaos, there are a group of people that I never see anyone thanking. The men and women that work in grocery and convenient stores are forced to come into work and deal with the terribly impatient people who don’t seem to understand that there is a crisis going on. They have to deal with all these people and in my wife’s case aren’t even allowed to take preventive measures because it’s intimidating. She gets shit from people constantly all day, she’s a bakery manager and shes had people bitching at her cause there is no meat in the meat department. I know people are scared but it’s really a shame that common decency has been replaced by a vicious selfishness.
