A few years ago I caught a reflection of myself in passing, and thought "wow that guy looks like an arsehole" before realising it was me.
I wouldn't even describe it as self-loathing, more like an instinctive, deep-rooted revulsion

The worst part is that I don’t even need a clone of myself to realize how annoying I am. I will literally think to myself “please stop doing this, it’s very weird, awkward and annoying” and proceed to do it.
