I totally get this one. I didn't get my shit together until 36 and it's still feeling like I'm playing a lot of catch up. It's easy to look in the past at mistakes and let them hold you down. Not letting my past define me is one of the things I am finally doing and it helps a lot.
That really resonates for me. I'm 41 and only in the last year have I really felt like I've finally got my shit together. My life, career, health, etc are all for the first time where I want them to be.
It's a really good feeling to get here. The journey is hard, but the destination is worth it.
Wow. Thanks. Needed that. Just ended a 10 year relationship. I’m 52. Every once in a while I worry that the good days are behind me. Gives me hope to stay the course.
