Video with Spanish subtitles essentially saying the same thing, "After winning the match, the captain, instead of celebrating with his teammates, went to the ref and gave him a hug as if they were brothers. Later he explained that the ref had told him his mother recently died. 'I told him he reffed well.'"
Refs mom died during the first half. The ref was informed at half time ( terrible mistake imo). He continued to do his job during the second half like nothing has happened. He only broke down at the end of the match. Respect man, respect!

It’s so beautiful seeing men console each other. Seeing men let their guards down around each other makes me want to hug and cry with them.
