Is this why people have been saying this to me? I flip my phone but it’s because I don’t have a cover and the front it flat. The back has the stupid camera protruding so I don’t want it scratched by the table.
Also, the back of my phone case is hard plastic with no traction but the front has those good gripping rubber edges and I'm just not looking to accidentally backhand my phone across the room

Having your phone face down can also be set as a gesture control for silent mode. So it won't ring or vibrate.
